The importance of this photo, to me, stems from the Tiger Lily itself. In my eyes, the Tiger Lily is a symbol of fierce, unapologetic beauty. It is true when they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You are the beholder, and as the beholder you are free to express yourself in any way you find fitting. There are those whose beauty is so unique, society seems to turn away and vilify their differences. Never let anyone dull your shine.
